A Mental Health Drive Through
A Mental Health Drive Through was held Monday, 6/29 from 10 – 11 am in the front parking lot of Northland Shepherd’s Center. This was a wonderful way to practice social distancing and still connect with others. Cars drove through and gathered self-care tips and goodies from Tri-County Mental Health Services, Signature Psychiatric, Senior Life Solutions, Monarch Behavioral Health, Soundscape Music Therapy and Northland Shepherd’s Center. This event was sponsored to spread the word that support that remains available during this scary time of COVID-19 uncertainty.
Check back often to see what other happenings are going on to lighten your load! Free produce is available weekly for those who need it and call on Monday to reserve their box. Once all the food is spoken for in a given week you can be placed on a wait list for the following week and be first on that list.
Call Kelley at (816) 844-3964 to make reservations, then be available to pick it up on Thursday between 9 and 10 a.m. at Northland Shepherd’s Center. A free Harvester’s Mobile Food Pantry is available to anyone who needs it on the 4th Thursday of every month. Produce is distributed on a first come first served basis between 10 and noon.
