Food Saving Tips

Save the tips, ends, stems, and other vegetable scraps. Store them in a zip lock baggie in your freezer until you have enough to make vegetable stock with. With your homemade stock make a big pot of soup. Freeze some for later eat some now.


Utilize the fresh fruits, vegetables, and other perishable goods you have on hand first. Save canned goods for later in case you are unable to get out to the store.
