Loaner Wi-Fi Hotspots
If you are over the age of 60 and would like to connect to Wi-Fi in your home, Northland Shepherd’s Center is now offering loaner Wi-Fi Hotspot devices.

These devices are being offered on first come, first served, and to those individuals who need a temporary Wi-Fi connection. These devices will help you by providing internet access in your home to use with your smart phone, laptop, or tablets.
These Wi-Fi Hotspot devices were made possible by grants and donations to help our Seniors thrive.
This hotspot device is a Franklin 10 LTE Mobile Hotspot. It plugs into an outlet in your home. It can support up to 10 device connections. The device has multiband support, and provides seamless wireless data connection, wherever it goes.

- What are the requirements to be able to check out a loaner Wi-Fi Hotspot?
You must be 60 or older. Resident of Clay or Platte County. - How long can I check out the Wi-Fi Device?
2 months is the max duration of check out. (You can renew if there are no holds on the device.) - How do I place a hold on a Wi-Fi Hotspot?

- What if I need help installing the device?
Let us know if you need help and we can provide you with a technology volunteer to assist with setup and connect a device.
- How do I return the device?
Bring the device back to our office at the corner of Antioch and Englewood, 5601 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119.
- Are the devices easy to install?
The devices will come with some easy to follow instructions and how to connect your Wi-Fi enabled device (laptop, smartphone, tablet, iPad). If you need help installing the device, we will walk you through it over the phone or send one of our technology volunteers to help you set it up. - What if I want to buy a Wi-Fi hotspot?
